Far Away Land

I don’t know why,
but lately tears gather like storms,
my heart feels sick,
my mind an empty room,
my brain aching with silent thunder.

I dream of escape—
a faraway land beyond this weight,
where sorrow dissolves into laughter,
where every face blooms with sunlight,
where no shadows follow.

I want to scream,
like they do,
to loosen the knots inside,
to free the heaviness
that chains my chest.

I want to be happy,
to smile like them,
to breathe in light without fear,
to live in a place
where the sky whispers only joy.

Frustration’s Whisper

In the silence after my turn,
I replay the moment,
the blank stare,
the heavy pause.

He didn’t like my words, I think,
he didn’t like my proposal,
and I stood frozen—
a river dammed at its source.

Now the answers flood,
too late,
pouring in like rain on dry soil.
I should have said:
This article reviews IBL in EFL writing,
but no new spark within—
while my proposal dares to light
a new fire,
GAI-supported,
innovation alive.

But I spoke none of it.
Silence betrayed me.
Lord, help me—
not to drown in regret,
but to rise in courage.

Let tomorrow’s voice
flow like a river unblocked,
clear, strong, unwavering.
May I learn from this stumble,
and turn hesitation
into eloquence.

For every late awakening
is still a step forward,
and even frustration
is a teacher in disguise.
