/ Daughter In “LOL” Trailer Author: Patrick Date: Jan 10, 2012 In: Movies, Patrick Coming to a theatre near you later this year is ‘LOL,’ a teenage coming of age story starring Miley Cyrus whose character struggles with love, freedom, and growing up. Demi Moore plays her mother, who tries to prevent her rebellious party daughter from ruining her life (as moms do). This isn’t heavy stuff, just a fluffy teenage dramedy (with lines like, “It’s so good to love someone so much it hurts” and “I hate her. Look at her – even her underwear is skankville.” Clearly the film is targeted to the girls that followed Cyrus as Hannah Montana. The film is a remake of the 2008 French film of the same name. Oh, and although LOL may refer to the “Laughing Out Loud” phrase, but it’s also short for Lola, which is the name of Cyrus’ character. An interesting tidbit of info is that there was previously a scene in the film showed Miley Cyrus smoking marijuana, but it was cut after that video circulated the web back in December 2010 showing Cyrus smoking the psychoactive plant salvia divinorum.
