If I Can Stay

If I Can Stay

If I can stay, it would be great—
To linger here, defying fate.
If you allow me, heart and hand,
It would be more than I had planned.

Magnificent, this quiet place,
A moment carved in time and grace.
But if I can’t, then I must go,
Return to where the tempests blow.

I’ll journey back to storm and strife,
To chaos wrapped in daily life.
I only ask—please, make me strong,
To face the world where I belong.

May You be near in every breath,
Through sleepless nights and shadows’ death.
May You walk with me, never far,
My guiding hope, my northern star.

And as I step through pain and flame,
Please guard my soul, please know my name.
May Your light shine when skies turn gray—
Be with me, Lord, and show the way.
