A Dream in Velvet Gold
Marry the keeper of beauty’s bright flame,
The one they all whisper, yet none dare to name.
He’s handsome—like myths carved from fire and stone,
Sexy, commanding, yet sweet to the bone.
Big in his stride, tall like a tree,
Clever with words, yet gentle with me.
Kindness he wears like a finely stitched coat,
With riches that float on a silver-belled boat.
He loves me like stars love the dark of the night,
Like the moon chasing oceans in soft, sacred light.
And when vows are whispered and papers are signed,
The company’s mine—his legacy, mine.
Then I will dance through the halls of delight,
Mingling with boys 'neath chandeliers bright.
Each gaze a promise, each smile a spark,
And I’ll love them all… in the depths and the dark.
A queen in the court of silk and sin,
Where passion is power—and I always win.
