Prayer Has Three Paths
A prayer only walks three ways:
It’s granted fast, like heaven’s embrace,
Or softly paused, held for the perfect day,
Or gently changed, for something far more great.
All is well, here we go —
My steps are firm, my heart aglow.
I wish to graduate fast — or right on time,
Or in three sweet years, still just fine.
Offered a job as a lecturer in Taiwan,
Or researcher, or some bright path beyond.
Become WNT, with a Taiwan ID,
A passport of dreams, a future set free.
A salary — Alhamdulillah — enough to explore,
To travel the world, to buy and restore.
A home of my own, a small field of rice,
A boarding house built, income nice.
A house in Bali, turned hotel or Airbnb,
A stream of passive joy, flowing endlessly.
And that one person — still loves me true,
Moves here, works here, builds life anew.
Or I meet an Arabian one day,
awesome, sexy, smart in every way.
Tall and rich, with a kind, full heart,
Loving me dearly, never to part.
Whatever the answer —
Be it granted, delayed, or sweetly revised,
I believe in the grace where destiny lies.
All is well — not just a rhyme,
But a prayer rising high…
To a future written in heaven’s own time.
