A Whisper Beyond My Strength
(English version of the poem)
Forgive me, Lord, I couldn't hold my tongue,
My words escaped, my heart came undone.
I told someone — I needed to speak,
This burden was heavy, my soul felt weak.
It wasn’t rebellion, nor lack of trust,
But silence was turning my spirit to dust.
There’s pain too deep to carry alone,
And sometimes we seek a voice that’s known.
I know, it’s You I should’ve told,
All of my troubles, silent and bold.
For You are the Source, the Healer divine,
The answer to every cry of mine.
Yet I’m only human — broken and frail,
Longing for someone to hear my tale.
I needed to breathe, to lighten the weight,
Even if the healing must still wait.
It wasn’t betrayal, but a cry for peace,
To let the storm inside me cease.
But I see now, I ran the wrong way,
When I should’ve knelt down to You and prayed.
Forgive me, Lord, for looking around,
When Your presence was all that needed to be found.
You are the key to every locked door,
The comfort I crave, and so much more.
Guide me back to where I belong,
To the quiet place where prayers are strong.
For You alone can calm this sea,
And carry what’s too much for me.
Thank You, Lord, for Your endless grace,
For holding me still in Your holy embrace.
Though I stumble, You never let go —
Your love, the safest place I know.
